Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.

In the wilderness for forty days and nights, Jesus faces the ultimate test of endurance. Deprived of food and water, he withstands the relentless hounding of the devil, who seeks to lure him away from God’s path. The climax of this spiritual battle occurs as the devil makes one final attempt, taking Jesus to a high mountain to offer him all the world’s riches in exchange for his allegiance and obedience.

Be steadfast

Jesus remains steadfast.  He firmly rejects the devil’s temptations. “Go away, Satan! For it is written and forever remains written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve only him.'” (Matthew 4:9, AMP)

In this pivotal moment, the devil presents Jesus with the allure of an “easy route.”  A shortcut to avoiding adversity and challenges that are to come. Jesus refuses to compromise his values and beliefs. He remains faithful to his purpose and God’s plan. The priority is God’s will not your will. God’s will is the only way to go.  Jesus unwavering commitment serves as a powerful example to you. Embrace life’s challenges and adversities as opportunities for growth and transformation.

Follow Purpose

Like Jesus, you can endure the trials of the wilderness for the greater good.  Navigate the vicissitudes of life with courage and perseverance. Stay true to your values and beliefs in the face of temptation.  You will emerge stronger and build resilient.  Equipping to fulfil the purpose predetermined for you. Draw inspiration from Jesus’s example, trusting in God’s plan for your life.  Find hope and redemption in the midst of adversity. Go through the hardships to live in the purpose of your life.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10, NIV).
